I arrive about ten minutes early to set up a pop-up tent and extractor fan in a bathroom, bedroom, or corner of your living room. All I need is about a 6x6 foot space and an outlet.
We talk through your event, your skin, and how dark you want to go. Then I mix your color and airbrush you head to toe, which takes about fifteen minutes. A quick cool-down and you're dressed in loose, dark clothes and done. The whole visit takes about 30–40 minutes for one person.
How to prep for your spray tan
Exfoliate and shave 12 to 24 hours before your appointment, and skip lotion, deodorant, perfume, and makeup on the day. Clean, dry skin takes color most evenly. Have loose, dark clothing and slip-on shoes ready for afterwards.
Aftercare that makes your tan last
Wait until the time on your rinse card before your first shower, then rinse with lukewarm water only. After that, moisturize every day, pat dry instead of rubbing, and skip long hot baths, saunas, and heavy scrubs. With good aftercare, your glow lasts about seven to ten days.
